Safe Motherhood

MSS adopts a holistic approach to safe motherhood. Many of its new centres offer maternity services in addition to family planning. MSS is working very closely with the government to strengthen public services and emergency care as an essential tier in the system to provide complete Mother and Child Health (MCH) services.

MSS has established three Obstetric Units- one each in Saleh Pat, Rohri (Sindh) and Turbat (Balochistan) that provide complete 24- hour obstetric services. The Rohri and Turbat centres (since inception in 2007) have provided 37, 774 safe motherhood services.
